What you bring to the table
The individual in this exempt position should have a minimum of 8 years of job, field or office administration experience. Individuals at this level should have satisfactorily managed multiple jobs large in size and scope and are capable of handling multiple jobs with varying requirements. They may exercise direction and/or have some supervisory responsibility over receptionist/administrative assistant or Project Accountants.
The job involves the following essential functions:
- Job cash flow and accounts receivable tracking
- Cost and budget review and adjustments with/for Project Managers
- Ensure that all accounting processes are completed each month
- Interdisciplinary cross-training
- Minority participation reporting
- Maintain project files
- Manage subcontractor compliance
- Project representative coordination
- Project administration management
- Project startup and closeout
- Prepare monthly owner billings and any other owner requirements
- Review and process subcontractor requests for payment and vendor invoices
- Process or assist with journal entries and budget adjustments as needed
- Overall project support as required
- Assist with and/or coordinate project audits

You also meet the following requirements:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Experience with CMiC and/or Textura preferred
- Prior office administration and accounting experience
- Understanding of principles of accounting and business administration
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enhanced understanding of:

- Mechanic’s lien laws for the state in which work is being performed
- Contract documents/owners/subcontractors/purchase orders
- Insurance Requirements owner/subcontractor, GL, WC, SDI, CCIP, OCIP, etc.
- Must be able to prioritize workload, multitask and exercise outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, be a team player and have a positive attitude
- Ability to handle working on multiple jobs/projects and with multiple managers
- Ability to thrive in a culture of integration and collaboration and project a positive professional image
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; frequently lift and move up to ten pounds; constantly communicates with project and operations teams, Beck employees, and external vendors; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
Salary Range : $70-78,000
